Basketball Shooters: Use Thumb
Let your thumb do more. Use the area between your thumb and forefinger more. Relying more on your thumb and this area reduces variance from the fingers. There is a lot more consistency doing this. There is a lot more variance with fingers, a lot more things can go wrong. After years, this just came to me. The ball can even bounce off the thumb to last touch the forefinger before leaving the hand, in this manner, the thumb acts as a benchmark. Aim the ball, just like aiming an arrow. Focus, it hurts the head. Let The Spirit rule.
